Polskie
Autobusy at
a conference
in Lubin 29.05.2007
Between
28 and 29 May
2007 the VII
Mass Transport
Conference was
held in Lubin.
It is a cyclical,
biannual conference.
The conference
participants
had an occasion
to see the two
smallest buses
included in
the offer of
Polskie Autobusy:
a suburban Autosan
H7-20MB Solina
manufactured
in Sanok and
a city bus Jelcz
M083C Libero
manufactured
in Jelcz. Both
buses had previously
been tested
on the streets
of the city,
in normal city
traffic, which
is due to the
fact that the
purchase of
a few vehicles
of this type
is currently
being contemplated
in Lubin. PKS
Lubin which
is currently
handling city
transport in
Lubin already
owns only one
small Jelcz
Vero M081MB
bus manufactured
in 2000, and
so after having
purchased 12
standard buses
it wishes to
add some smaller
vehicles to
its fleet. During
the conference
the latest bus
models manufactured
by Irisbus were
presented as
well, which
included an
intercity bus
Crossway and
a CNG propelled
city bus Citelis
owned by MPK
Wałbrzych and
a diesel Citelis
belonging to
PKS Lubin. All
Lubin conference
participants
were offered
a city ride
in a historic
Jelcz 043 owned
by Artur Lemański.
We
are proud to
announce that
the participants
of the conference
have appreciated
the functionality
and technical
solutions used
in one of the
exhibits - Jelcz
M083C bus –
by awarding
the first prize
for the best
exhibitor to
Polskie Autobusy
and by giving
the first prize
for the best
exhibited product
to Libero.
Franciszek
Gaik PhD, President
of “Polskie
Autobusy”,
handed the conference
cup to the Presidents
of the Management
Board of both
manufacturing
plants: Autosan
and Jelcz. Libero
is the first
vehicle designed
and manufactured
as a result
of cooperation
between these
two plants.
