Autosan’s
anniversary 31.05.2007
This
year’s
technical and
commercial conference
for motor transport
companies, traditionally
organised by
Polskie Autobusy
in Polańczyk
and Sanok had
a particularly
solemn character.
It was combined
with the 175th
anniversary
of Autosan manufacturing
plant –
the oldest and
at the same
time one of
the biggest
plants of this
type in Poland.
The participants
of the meeting,
representing
over 100 PKS
companies from
all over Poland
and 20 companies
co-operating
with Autosan,
were not only
able to get
together with
the representatives
of the plant,
but also to
visit the plant
itself and learn
about the technologies
used and the
way the manufacturing
processes are
organised. They
have also seen
the latest offer
of Polskie Autobusy.
The
anniversary
was also an
excellent opportunity
for the management
and staff to
meet former
employers of
the plant. The
participants
of a solemn
meeting held
in the open-air
ethnographic
museum in Sanok
included: Wacław
Krawczyk –
Starost of Sanok,
Wojciech Blecharczyk
– Mayor
of Sanok, Tomasz
Kałwa - Vice-President
of Sobiesław
Zasada SA, and
Marek Cieślik
– President
of ZS Jelcz
SA. Franciszek
Gaik –
President of
“Polskie
Autobusy”
and Wiesław
Wyżycki –
President of
Autosan acted
as hosts of
the meeting.
