AutoGuard S.A. was founded in year 2000 and is one of the first companies that have introduced on the Polish market the so-called telematic systems. The Company manufactures specialised appliances and applications that support management of the mobile objects. In this field the Company employs the most advanced technologies of wireless communication, localisation and satellite navigation. AutoGuard S.A. after years of a dynamic development, has become the unquestionable leader on the market of the GPS positioning systems. The Company's success has resulted from the development of new systems and technologies as well as from the close cooperation with scientific and research institutes. The Company continously creates new orginal solutions and seeks new applications for telematic systems.
Since 2004 AutoGuard S.A. has had the ISO 9001:2008 quality certificate. In years 2007, 2008 and 2009 the Company was awarded the Business Gazelles prize - established by "Puls Biznesu" daily for the most dynamically developing business ventures in Poland.
The basic Company's products are appliances installed in vehicles with the purpose of an active vehicles protection and transport means management. The constant monitoring of vehicles equipped with the AutoGuard appliances is executed through GPS receivers and the GSM network. All data received from vehicles included in the system are transmitted to the Monitoring Centre. This Centre through the informatic platform follows on-line the vehicles' parametres. The main market for sale of AutoGuard products and services is Poland. The Company also exports its products to the Baltic states (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). In year 2009 the cooperation agreement with an Ukrainian partner was signed.
AutoGuard S.A. also runs its own Command Control Centre (operating by virtue of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration License No. L-1709/00) that offers security services for the Company's subscribers. The AutoGuard Monitoring Centre has obtained the Authorisation Certificate issued by the Industrial Motorisation Institute (Przemysłowy Instytut Motoryzacji).
AutoGuard acts also as an insurance multiagency that offers sale of car insurance and claims clearing. In this field the Company cooperates with the leading insurance firms.
